4 easy steps to pipe heavy texture
1. Snip It
Cut a small piece off the bag, about 3/4 of an inch. Cut further as needed to increase flow of paint.
2. Twist it
Use dominant hand to twist the top until bag feels firm. Apply steady pressure to force air pockets outs.
3. Squeeze it
Guide the nozzle with one hand, applying pressure with the other to control paint thickness and shape.
4. Clip It
Flatten the open end and clip it for short-term storage. For long-term, transfer to airtight container.

How long does it take to dry?
Drying time varies based on humidity, temperature, and paint thickness. Takes about 60-90 minutes to dry to the touch and at least 5-7 days to fully dry. Use fans to speed up drying.
Can I use Heavy Texture on canvas or other surfaces?
Utilize wood panels when working with Heavy Texture for optimal paint structure; the bounciness of canvas can be a hindrance with large volumes of paint.
Test drying process of Heavy Texture on small samples of intended surface to determine compatibility.
Can I mix Heavy Texture with regular acrylics?
Our 'regular' acrylic paints, Acrylic Colors collection, are made to be mixed with Heavy Texture. While Heavy Texture is mostly compatible with other acrylic brands, results may vary. Conduct a small mixing test to check compatibility and consider using gaffrey paints for best results.
Do I need a gesso to prime my surface before using Heavy Texture?
Choose our Base Coats over gesso for artist-quality paint infused with marble dust for better adhesion. Only need 1-2 coats to prime you panel.
